A creative documentary film IN THE BORDERLAND, produced by Koko Production and directed by Elina Hyvärinen was screened twice at DocPoint - Helsinki documentary film festival. The film had its premiere on Wednesday, February 5th, followed by an after-party that included speeches and live music by Pekka Nisu. Appropriately, Pekka Nisu's latest solo album deals with the depopulation of the countryside.
The second screening took place on Sunday, February 9th. After the screening, director Elina Hyvärinen and producer Mina Laamo participated in a Q&A session with the audience. Both screenings were sold out.
