Mina Laamo’s upcoming film presented in Switzerland

Koko Production participated in VdR–Pitching at the Visions du Réel – International Film Festival in Nyon in April to present Mina Laamo’s upcoming documentary feature, A Nature Documentary on Dying Birds (working title). VdR–Pitching is the festival’s highly competitive international co-production and financing platform, showcasing fourteen projects in development that combine artistic ambition with international potential and are ready to be launched into production.

The film explores the collapse of biodiversity and examines why humanity’s relationship with nature has become so unnatural. It is reported that more than 3 billion birds have disappeared across the EU and North America in less than 50 years.
